About Craig Mitnick

EXPERIENCED. STRATEGIC. INTUITIVE. PROVEN.

Technology Entrepreneur & Sports Tech Founder

Craig Mitnick is a technology entrepreneur and sports tech founder focused on building scalable digital infrastructure within the evolving athlete creator economy. With a career spanning technology innovation, platform development, legal, media broadcasting, and strategic business growth, Craig has consistently operated at the intersection of digital systems, public engagement, and long-term enterprise development.

His professional path reflects a commitment to building durable platforms that create measurable impact — both at scale and in high-performance environments.

Early Foundations in Business & Law

Craig received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University and earned his law degree from The George Washington University School of Law. While his early career included experience in litigation and business development, it also laid the foundation for a broader understanding of strategic risk management, organizational structure, and large-scale claim resolution systems.

Throughout his professional life, Craig has been recognized for creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate in high-stakes environments. These early experiences developed the systems-level mindset that would later shape his work in technology innovation and digital infrastructure.

Strategic Development & the NFL Player Claims Process

Craig played a role in the strategic development efforts related to what ultimately became known as the NFL Concussion Class Action and Claim Resolution Program. Working personally on behalf of 1,400 retired players and on behalf of the entire class, he helped contribute to the success of the action’s final approval and resolution process.
This period provided Craig with unique exposure to the operational complexities facing professional athletes — particularly in relation to institutional systems, representation frameworks, and long-term economic impact.

Founder of NIXLE — Early Public Safety Technology Infrastructure

In 2008, Craig founded NIXLE, Inc., a San Francisco-based technology company that pioneered secure, geographically targeted communication infrastructure for public safety agencies.

NIXLE continues to provide law enforcement, emergency services, national security organizations, and educational institutions with secure interoperability tools that allow for real-time communication with the public across mobile devices and online platforms. At a time when public communication systems were fragmented, NIXLE created one of the earliest scalable, location-based digital alert systems.
Under Craig’s leadership as President and Chief Executive Officer, the company grew into a nationally recognized public safety technology platform that is now used by over 8,000 + agencies throughout the United States.

The infrastructure developed through NIXLE has since been credited with supporting emergency communications and public information distribution during critical incidents, natural disasters, and security events.

NIXLE represented an early example of Craig’s core entrepreneurial philosophy:

Build systems that scale.
Solve structural problems.
Empower institutions through technology.

Transition Toward Digital Platform Architecture & Athlete Monetization

After leading NIXLE, Craig shifted his focus toward broader digital platform development and strategic advisory work, helping founders and businesses refine operational models and scalability frameworks.

His long-term representation of professional athletes, combined with his interest in athletics along with his experience working alongside high-profile athletes and understanding the structural challenges they face, led to the formation of Graxster

Co-Founder of Graxster — Sports Technology Infrastructure

Craig is the Co-founder of Graxster, a sports technology platform designed to enable professional athletes to build direct-to-fan monetization ecosystems in a controlled and reputationally secure environment.

Graxster addresses a structural gap within the athlete creator economy — providing subscription-based infrastructure, tiered fan engagement systems, and long-term digital brand ownership tools.

The platform reflects Craig’s broader vision:
Athletes should not rely solely on traditional media, sponsorship intermediaries, or volatile social networks to monetize their audience relationships.
Instead, they should own scalable digital infrastructure that aligns with long-term economic sustainability.

Graxster represents a convergence of Craig’s background in:

Platform architecture
Strategic development
Public communication systems
Institutional infrastructure
High-profile stakeholder engagement

His experience in media has further shaped his understanding of audience engagement, digital visibility, and reputation architecture — elements that now inform his entrepreneurial approach.

Entrepreneurial Philosophy

Craig believes that successful ventures are built on three foundational pillars:

  1. Strategic clarity
  2. Structural integrity
  3. Scalable infrastructure

He views technology not merely as a tool, but as an enabling framework that supports sustainable economic systems.

Whether developing secure public safety communication networks or athlete monetization platforms, his focus remains consistent:
Build reliable systems that empower people directly.
